Have you seen the black burger they sell in the Japanese Burger King? The burger is made with black bread, black cheese and black sauce. Great or disgusting? Meet and eat the Burger King Kuro Burger!
Ieuw, yuck, gross! Your first reaction? Maybe not that strange. To me it looked like a burger that had travelled through a sewer. But okay, no prejudices. Maybe it’s really delicious and it’s just appearances. And for Halloween, who knows? This might be on your list for dinner.
The burger is made from black bread, black cheese and black sauce. The burger got this color because they used bamboo charcoal for the bread and cheese. The sauce got black because they used ink from squids. Hmm, sounds really appealing to me already… And if you walk to a Burger King, the advertisement looks something like this:
Taste the Burger King Kuro Burger
Soo… how is the taste? I haven’t tried one myself yet, but I found a few people who did. Check their reactions below to hear how it tasted. The things I heard most were: ‘pretty good’, ‘garlic-like’, ‘doesn’t taste as it smells’, ‘salty’ and ‘the bun tastes pretty much the same as a normal bun’.

Burger King Kuro Burger
The Kuro Burger is available in two different kinds: The Kuro Pearl and Kuro Diamond (getting any Pokemon-vibes here?). Prices range between 480 en 750 Yen, so that’s quite doable.
So, is the Kuro Burger on your list now? Or do you still think it’s disgusting?
